Heinz European Innovation Centre
Combining art installation with architecture, this feature wall sits within the reception area of the Heinz European Innovation Centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
Designed as a historical showcase of the Heinz brand, Wall 57 takes various elements intrinsically linked to the brand – everything from the tomato seed and ketchup bottle, to the household fork and fridge – and combines them with iconic advertising imagery from their archives. Designed by Acrylicize, the geometric shapes of the wall are formed from intersections of the iconic ‘keystone’ logo, found on every piece of Heinz packaging. I was commissioned to celebrate the wide range of products themselves, and these illustrations were layered and printed onto acetate.
